The Editor - Producer will play a pivotal role in developing and refining content for both original and branded podcasts. This position is ideal for someone who excels in creative storytelling, strategic content planning, and has a keen understanding of the podcasting landscape. Responsibilities Content Development: Craft and implement content plans for original and branded podcasts, ensuring a compelling and engaging listener experience. Script Management: Review, edit, and enhance audio and video podcast scripts to maintain high-quality storytelling and content coherence. Content & Social Media Editing: Oversee and refine content descriptions and social media copies for podcasts, ensuring they resonate with our target audience and align with brand messaging. Budget Planning: Develop and manage budget plans for original podcast productions, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze podcast performance on YouTube and audio platforms, aiming to maintain and improve chart standings in the MENA region. Research & Topic Selection: Conduct thorough research and identify relevant topics for podcasts that cater to audience interests, trends, and align with strategic goals. Content Structuring: Assist podcast hosts in developing their content structure and format, enhancing overall presentation and listener engagement. Requirements Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in content production, editing, or a related field, with a focus on podcasting or broadcast media. Skills: Exceptional editing and content development skills. Proficiency in audio and video editing software. Strong understanding of podcasting trends and audience preferences in the MENA region. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
