Summary of job:

KSHurst Services is looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Product Insights & Optimization Analyst to help drive data-driven decision making across its multifamily property management portfolio.

In this role you will analyze property, leasing, resident, marketing, operational and financial data to determine trends, performance gaps and opportunities for improvement. You will work closely with Property Management, Marketing, Leasing, Finance, Operations and senior leadership teams to translate complex data into useful insights that will ultimately make our communities better, our residents happier and our operations more efficient.

Primary duties

Monitor occupancy, leasing activity, renewals, resident satisfaction, marketing effectiveness and operational KPIs.

Trends, performance gaps, risks and opportunities for improvement are identified.

Develop, produce and deliver analytics management reports, dashboards, KPI summaries and presentations.

Analyze lease and occupancy data to understand drivers of property and community performance

Evaluate marketing programs and conversion rates.

Evaluate resident feedback and engagement data to detect patterns and opportunities to improve the resident experience.

Track property management KPIs including pricing, leasing activity, renewal rate and other performance indicators.

Ad-hoc analysis of business/operational questions

Assess the effects of changes in procedures, marketing, leasing and operating practices.

Property Performance and Operating Efficiencies Program.

Help leaders to develop meaningful performance measures and KPIs.

• Ability to communicate complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders; - Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality and analytical workflows.

Results to watch: operational change.

Document for analysis, reporting and business recommendations

Work with Property Managers, Regional Teams, Marketing, Leasing, Finance and Senior Leadership.

Comply with all privacy and security laws regarding resident, company, financial and property information.

Work experience with remote teams and participation in virtual meetings and/or presentations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience.

Experience in business analytics, operational analytics, product insights, property analytics or similar analytic function.

• Strong analytical, quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills.- Good working knowledge of Excel and other spreadsheet packages• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Deliver the analysis results in a concise and usable format

Ability to work independently and as a team player in a virtual work environment.

Good to Have

Experience in multi-family housing, hospitality, real estate or property management a plus.

Experience with occupancy, lease up, renewal, resident or property level performance indicators.

Specialist in business intelligence platforms and tools to present data.

Familiarity with SQL or other data querying tools;

Familiarity with CRM, property management, leasing or marketing software.

Experience with dashboards and executive performance reports.

Experience with A/B testing, forecasting, benchmarking or optimization.
