ProductCommunications Lead, Core PrintSolutions
Role Summary
Reporting to the Global Head of Print Communications, this role leadsexternalcommunications for HP’s Core Print business, spanning Office, Consumer, and Supplies.The role serves as a strategic communications partnerto senior business leaders and cross-functional teams, shaping compelling narratives for media and industry analysts.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute theexternalcommunications strategy for HP’s Core Print businesses,providing clear guidance and recommendations on external positioning, news opportunities, and high-visibility business moments.
Shape proactivestorytelling thatbuilds awareness and third-party validation of HP’s Print business, identifying compelling stories across products, customers, innovation, and industry trends.
Drive product and portfolio storytelling across hardware, services, and supplies, including new product introductions, platform updates,and ecosystem narratives connected to HP’s broader business and innovation priorities.
Oversee media and analyst engagement strategy, including proactive outreach, briefings, product reviews, and industry narratives.Identify and manage emerging issues, advising on external communications strategy and response.
Manage agency partners across planning, execution, and performance measurement.
Experience Recommended
8+ years of external communications experience,with demonstrated depth in product and portfolio communications, ideally within technology or complex B2B/B2C environments
Strong news judgment and experience working directly with media and industry analysts
Strong executive presence and judgment, with the ability to counsel senior leaders and influence across a highly matrixed organization
Experience navigating sensitive or high-visibility external communications issues
Ability to balance strategic counsel with hands-on execution, withexperience across both in-house and agency environments strongly preferred
