Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing software company in the Austin, TX, for a Product Manager to own the roadmap and drive cross-functional delivery for a core platform. Day to day, you will split time between strategic planning and the tactical work of keeping delivery on track, translating customer and market insight into a prioritized roadmap, then partnering closely with engineers and designers to ship it. Responsibilities
Own and communicate the product roadmap for a core platform
Gather and synthesize customer, market, and stakeholder feedback into clear requirements
Partner with engineering and design to scope, prioritize, and ship features
Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specs
Run sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release coordination with engineering teams
Define and track success metrics for features and releases
Communicate roadmap status, tradeoffs, and risks to leadership and stakeholders
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and support to align go-to-market efforts
Conduct competitive analysis and market research to inform strategy
Facilitate cross-functional meetings and drive alignment across teams
Requirements
3-5 years of experience as a Product Manager, ideally on a B2B or platform product
Proven track record of owning a roadmap and shipping features end to end
Experience working closely with engineering teams in an agile environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
Comfort using data and analytics tools to inform product decisions
Working knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar
Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with SaaS or platform products strongly preferred
