Job Description: Product Manager

Full-Time: Cambridge, MA / Remote

Madaket Health has developed a suite of solutions to remove administrative waste from healthcare. Current solutions include Provider Data Management, EDI Enrollment and Payer Enrollment. Our solutions address complex administrative processes at the core of the business of providing healthcare.

The ideal candidate:

has strong product management skills with a working knowledge of healthcare standards (HIPAA, X12, CAQH, etc.), payer enrollment workflows, and the complexities of healthcare data exchange.

comfortable defining long-term product strategy, gathering customer and stakeholder insights, and creating product roadmaps to guide the development process

In this role your responsibilities include:

Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company goals.

Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery to identify opportunities.

Build business cases, prioritize initiatives, and translate company strategy into actionable product goals.

Partner with leadership, sales, marketing, and customer success to ensure product-market fit and go-to-market readiness.

Prioritize features and enhancements to maximize impact in a resource-constrained environment.

Work closely with internal stakeholders (implementation, operations, customer success) to identify pain points and opportunities.

Engage with customers and users directly to validate solutions and drive adoption.

Provide subject matter guidance on healthcare EDI transactions (834, 835, 837, 270/271, 276/277, etc.) and payer enrollment workflows.

Ensure that solutions align with industry standards (HIPAA, CAQH, etc.) and compliance requirements.

Help the team understand the nuances of healthcare data exchange and its business implications.

Continuously evaluate what's working, what's not working, and iterate quickly to improve outcomes.

Stay informed on healthcare regulatory updates and evolving payer/provider needs.

Required skills for success in this role:

4+ years as a Product Manager (or similar role) in healthcare technology, payer systems, or revenue cycle management.

Solid understanding of EDI healthcare transactions and payer enrollment processes.

Experience working in Agile environments, ideally with small, cross-functional teams.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with comfort navigating ambiguity.

Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Work collaboratively across all departments (i.e: Operations, Product Management, Engineering)

Organize and present complex information for consumption by diverse audiences

Process oriented to support continuous improvement across standard processes

BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience

Start-up, early-stage, high-growth healthcare IT experience strongly preferred

AI & Technology Fluency:

Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools (such as large language models, automated prior authorization, or predictive analytics) to improve product outcomes or streamline healthcare workflows.

Ability to evaluate AI/ML capabilities and assess their applicability to administrative automation, data quality improvement, and payer-provider workflows.

Comfort partnering with engineering to define AI-powered features, establish success metrics, and govern responsible AI use in compliance with HIPAA and applicable regulations.
