With NTi, you aren't a number, you're a valuable team member!The Product Manager is a key enabler of Norsk Titanium's commercial and operational success, ensures appropriate technology-application and profitability of Norsk Titanium's product portfolio through continuous evaluation, cost improvement, and strategic alignment of new and existing business opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesLeads the evaluation of new and existing business against company priorities, including target markets, profitability objectives, technology application, capacity utilization strategy, and long-term customer objectives, providing go/no-go recommendations to support pipeline prioritization Performs value-pricing and price-to-win analyses in collaboration with the Commercial team, combining market intelligence with cost, technical differentiation, and strategic value Develops and maintains part-level cost and pricing models for new and re-quoted opportunities, incorporating material, labor, post-processing, tooling, and overhead, in coordination with Cost Accounting to ensure models reflect current material prices, labor rates, machine utilization, and scrap factors, reconciled against actual production data on an ongoing basis Challenges cost, schedule, capacity, and business-case assumptions before commercial commitments are made, ensuring margin targets, cost assumptions, and risk factors are clearly documented and reviewed prior to submission, escalating programs or opportunities that fall outside approved strategic or financial boundaries Coordinates the end-to-end quoting process for government and commercial RFQs, including schedule alignment, cost roll-up, pricing sign-off, and timely customer submission, supporting the Commercial team with customer inquiries, proposals, and negotiations Develops Project Charters for approved opportunities, establishing scope, financial targets, key assumptions, critical milestones, and required functional deliverables, negotiating accountability with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Legal QualificationsBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering preferred, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline with strong quantitative focus. Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing environments is highly valued3-7 years of experience in pricing, cost estimating, or financial analysis within aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing. Direct experience working with or alongside Cost-Accounting strongly preferredDemonstrated ability to build and maintain detailed cost models incorporating direct materials, direct labor, burden rates, and margin structures. Familiarity with should-cost analysis, cost-to-win modelling or price-to-win (PTW) methodologies is a strong plus7-10 years' experience supporting a commercial or business development team in a quoting, pricing, or product management capacity, with an understanding of how RFQ responses translate into customer commitments and program economicsWorking knowledge of aerospace or defense manufacturing cost drivers, including raw material markets, machining and post-processing costs, and the economics of low-rate versus high-rate production, sufficient to build credible bottoms-up cost estimatesProficiency with Microsoft Excel for financial modelling is required. Experience with ERP systems and familiarity with cost accounting modules preferredProficiency with business productivity and analytics tools including Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word) and CRM or quoting management platforms.
