Title: Product Manager

The contractor will lead business analysis activities across one or more functional areas, guiding features and enhancements throughout the full software development lifecycle—from initial scoping through production rollout and post-launch evaluation.
This role is responsible for requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation in close collaboration with stakeholders, user representatives, and cross-functional delivery teams including engineering, quality assurance, and architecture.
You will serve as a key liaison between stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring alignment on business needs, priorities, and the technical approach. This role also partners with user testing, training, and product support teams to ensure successful adoption and ongoing support of delivered solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis efforts across the full software development lifecycle, from discovery through post-release evaluation
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate functional and operational requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders and delivery teams to drive a shared understanding of priorities, requirements, and solutions
- Facilitate communication and alignment across cross-functional teams
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Create artifacts such as process flows, workflow diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and decision tables to support requirements clarity
- Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to prepare and refine backlog items, ensuring readiness for development and testing
- Support sprint planning by ensuring requirements are complete, estimates are accurate, and dependencies are addressed
- Partner with user testing, training, data quality, and product support teams as needed throughout delivery
- Validate delivered solutions to ensure they meet business needs and defined success criteria
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate as needed
- Recommend and support process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop and deliver presentations and documentation for stakeholders and end users at various levels
- Support production releases and post-launch activities, including potential after-hours support as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience working on cross-functional teams delivering software solutions
- Strong experience with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle practices
- Proven ability to quickly understand new domains, systems, and business processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate complex technical and business concepts into clear, actionable insights
- Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL or similar data analysis tools
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MIRO
- Experience working in regulated industries or complex enterprise environments
- Background in domains such as registration/licensing, financial services, insurance, or mortgage
