Job description:
This role involves overseeing the delivery of the Next Generation POS roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities and maintaining high standards of execution across Agile teams. The Service Delivery Manager will facilitate stakeholder communication, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement in delivery processes. The position requires strong leadership in vendor management, change adoption, and Agile practices, with a focus on maintaining delivery quality and readiness for retail transformation programs.
 
Basic Qualifications:

• 12 years in technology and a minimum of 3 years in delivery or program management
• Proven experience leading large-scale POS or retail transformation programs
• Strong understanding of store technology, POS ecosystems, and integrations
• Experience working in Agile / Scaled Agile environments
• Strong executive communication, decision-making, and risk leadership skills

• Hands-on POS testing experience with experience in E2E testing, regression coverage, and release confidence
• Design E2E Test Scenarios and Test Cases, Test Rail experience is a must
• Defect Triage and Defect Management

• Experience managing system integrators and technology vendors
• Experience in vendor and partner management
• Experience in change and adoption management

• Delivery & Execution:
  • Own delivery of the NG POS roadmap across releases, regions, and workstreams
  • Translate product vision into clear delivery plans, milestones, and dependencies
  • Ensure delivery meets schedule, scope, quality, and cost expectations
  • Drive execution discipline across Agile teams and release cycles
• Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as primary interface with Product, Retail Operations, Technology, and Leadership
  • Provide clear, concise communication on status, risks, and trade-offs
  • Facilitate timely decisions aligned to business priorities and store impact
• Governance & Risk:
  • Establish and enforce delivery governance, quality gates, and release readiness
  • Proactively identify and mitigate delivery, technical, and operational risks
  • Manage cross-team and cross-platform dependencies (POS, payments, loyalty, integrations)
• Agile & Continuous Improvement:
  • Champion Agile and DevOps practices adapted to retail and store constraints
  • Track and report delivery health through metrics and outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement in speed, predictability, and quality
• Vendor & Partner Management:
  • Manage system integrators and technology vendors
  • Ensure vendors meet delivery commitments and quality standards
  • Align internal and external teams under a single execution cadence
• Change & Adoption:
  • Partner with operations teams on store readiness, rollout, and adoption
  • Ensure delivery plans account for change impact at store level
  • Support phased rollouts with minimal operational disruption
