Product Marketing Manager, Horizon

Summary:

Meta Reality Labs is seeking a Consumer Product Marketing Manager to drive product market fit and growth for Horizon, Meta's social platform where people create and play together. In this role, you will serve as the voice of the consumer within the product organization, leading inbound strategies that shape how Horizon evolves to meet consumer needs. You will partner closely with product, engineering, data science, and go-to-market teams to define audience opportunities, craft compelling value propositions, and translate deep market understanding into product and launch strategies that accelerate adoption and retention.

Required Skills:

Product Marketing Manager, Horizon Responsibilities:

1. Shape the core consumer experience by leading inbound and outbound work that enables users to discover, play, connect with friends, and find value in Horizon quickly

2. Build integration foundations across Meta's apps to make cross-app discovery an effective lever for growth

3. Drive Horizon's App Store presence including positioning, creative direction, testing plan, content updates, and conversion measurement

4. Represent the voice of the customer within the Horizon product organization, synthesizing qualitative and quantitative insights to influence product roadmap prioritization and feature development

5. Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for Horizon product launches, coordinating across marketing, communications, partnerships, and legal to drive awareness, adoption, and retention

6. Collaborate with user experience research and data science teams to build a continuous feedback loop between market signals and product decisions

7. 8+ years of experience in product marketing, product strategy, growth, or analytical roles

8. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or similar discipline

9. Experience partnering cross-functionally (Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, Design, User Experience Research, Legal/Privacy) to ship product changes and improve funnels

10. Demonstrated ability to own ambiguous work end-to-end: insight strategy execution measurement

11. Strong written and verbal communication skills

13. Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)

14. Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies

15. Experience working on early-stage or platform-level products in ambiguous, high-growth environments

16. Experience working on AI products – ideally for a consumer audience, but experience working on AI tools for developers, businesses, and policymakers also applies

17. Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)

18. Experience marketing social, gaming, or virtual world products on mobile platforms

Public Compensation:

$130,000/year to $188,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
