Key Responsibilities:
- We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager III / Product Marketing Manager to join the Global Pixel Product Marketing team.
- This role will focus on developing product marketing strategy, positioning, messaging, and launch frameworks for consumer technology products across the Pixel portfolio.
- The ideal candidate will have strong experience marketing B2C technology products, with a background in either consumer hardware or software.
- You will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Consumer Insights, Legal, Business, Creative, and Go-to-Market teams to translate complex product capabilities and consumer insights into compelling product strategies and messaging.
- This is a highly strategic product marketing role.
- The PMM will own strategy, positioning, messaging, and product/feature prioritization, while dedicated channel teams will manage downstream execution across areas such as social, CRM, retail, and other marketing channels.
- Develop and execute product marketing strategies for consumer technology products and features.
- Define clear product positioning, messaging, value propositions, and messaging frameworks based on consumer needs and product capabilities.
- Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams to understand product roadmaps, capabilities, and technical foundations.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling, consumer-focused narratives.
- Incorporate consumer research, market insights, and user feedback into product and marketing strategies.
- Develop product marketing guides covering feature descriptions, use cases, markets/countries, target audiences, and messaging.
- Partner with downstream marketing teams to ensure product capabilities and strategic messaging are effectively translated into marketing execution.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Insights, Legal, Business, Creative, Social, CRM, Retail, and other stakeholders.
- Support product launches and major annual product moments, as well as ongoing quarterly software feature releases.
- Identify opportunities and solve ambiguous problems with limited precedent or established frameworks.
- Create polished, data-driven presentations and strategy decks for senior leadership and executive-level audiences.
- Present recommendations and strategic narratives to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership.
- Influence teams and drive alignment within a complex, matrixed organization
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- 8+ years of professional experience in product marketing, preferably within consumer technology.
- Strong experience with B2C / consumer-facing products.
- Demonstrated experience developing product positioning, messaging, and marketing strategy.
- Experience taking products or features from insights and strategy through launch planning.
- Experience partnering closely with Product Management and/or Engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of how product, marketing, consumer insights, and cross-functional teams work together.
- Experience working within a matrixed organization and influencing multiple stakeholder groups.
- Strong storytelling, presentation, and executive-ready deck-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, identify problems, and develop solutions in ambiguous environments.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience marketing consumer hardware, software, mobile products, AI products, wearables, or consumer electronics.
- Experience working at a large technology company or other complex, matrixed organization.
- Experience with emerging technology or AI-driven products.
- Familiarity with Gemini or other generative AI tools.
- Experience developing messaging for new products or features with limited market precedent.
- Experience translating consumer insights and technical capabilities into strategic marketing narratives.
- Experience presenting strategy directly to senior leadership.
