Arconic is currently in search of Product Metallurgical Engineer join our QUALITY GROUP based in Alcoa, TN.
The Product Metallurgical Engineer will lead continuous improvement in process metallurgy, driving excellence in manufacturing, evaluation, and performance of sheet products produced at TN operations in their area of responsibility.

Advanced Degree
Experience with rolling operations.
Quality system experience (TS 16949).
Lean manufacturing experience.
Metallurgical experience with automotive products.
Experience with heat treatable alloys.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Effective quality problem solving skills to the root cause and the ability to drive continuous improvement.
Knowledge of and ability to apply quality systems, basic statistical techniques, metrology, inspection and test methods.
Capable and effective at being able to communicate the principles of quality systems, process management and statistical tools in a user-friendly manner to manufacturing personnel.
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Statistical Data analysis packages such as Minitab, Spotfire)
