Product Monetization and Pricing Strategy, Senior Manager

The Opportunity:

Booz Allen has built some of the most advanced cyber and AI technology anywhere. Now we are commercializing it. You will join a new team on the ground floor, helping build and scale the company’s commercialization function and working directly with sector leadership on the offerings that matter most to the company’s growth.

This role is for someone who can take a validated idea or business case and bring a strong point of view on its commercial design: how to structure, package, and price it as a compelling product or solution customers will buy. Working with sector leaders and the Pricing team, you will turn that view into a commercial model for products and solutions that customers value in today’s market and Booz Allen can sell repeatedly and at scale.

Drawing on hands-on experience across SaaS, subscription, licensing, consumption-based, or outcome-based models, you will develop pricing and packaging grounded in customer value, market dynamics, and offering economics. In partnership with the sectors, Pricing, Finance, Contracts, and Legal, you will evaluate business models, cost and margin implications, and commercial structures, including approaches that make bespoke solutions repeatable and support the company’s shift to company-fixed-price offerings and margin expansion.

Across the portfolio, you will own the commercial design function, serving as the quarterback for how offerings are structured and contributing to SKU rules, the product and solutions catalog, and CRM rules alongside the teams that manage them. For select high-priority offerings, you will partner closely with the sectors to drive commercialization end-to-end, from maturing the idea through commercial design and into go-to-market.

You'll be a hands-on business builder with deep experience in B2B software pricing, packaging, and monetization, and broad exposure to business models and route-to-market, who can turn innovative technology and intellectual property into practical, scalable commercial models. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

How You’ll Contribute

• Partner with sectors and the Pricing team to shape pricing and packaging for priority products and solutions, including bundles, tiers, licensing or usage structures, and value metrics.
• Partner with sector leaders, Pricing, and Finance to evaluate monetization models, unit economics, cost-to-serve, revenue potential, margin implications, and pricing and packaging recommendations.
• Use customer value, competitive benchmarks, market evidence, and commercial analysis to assess pricing and packaging options and articulate the tradeoffs.
• Drive commercial design and readiness for selected high-priority offerings, aligning sector and functional teams on deliverables, dependencies, decisions, and go-to-market handoffs.
• Shape commercial offering structures across the portfolio and help define requirements for SKU rules, the product and solutions catalog, and CRM processes in partnership with their functional owners.
• Identify and drive resolution of commercial design gaps, risks, dependencies, and required approvals with accountable stakeholders.
• Develop practical pricing, packaging, and commercialization templates and playbooks that can be reused across products and solutions.

You Have:

• 10+ years of experience in B2B software or technology commercialization, including pricing, packaging, or monetization strategy
• Experience designing or materially shaping pricing and packaging for products or solutions brought to market, not just analyzing or administering prices
• Experience translating commercial design decisions into clear requirements for SKUs, price books, product catalogs, and sales processes in collaboration with their functional owners
• Knowledge of SaaS and technology monetization models, customer value, cost and unit economics, margin tradeoffs, and discounting considerations
• Ability to influence sector leaders and cross-functional teams, including Pricing, Finance, Sales, Contracts, and Legal, and to push back when the commercial case calls for it
• Bachelor’s degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $142,900.00 to $266,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
