About the Team The Tools, Systems & Infrastructure team helps build the platforms, tools, and operational infrastructure that power the Music internal and external partner ecosystem. We identify operational pain points, design scalable solutions, and partner with Product and Engineering to deliver tools that improve efficiency, automate workflows, and enable the business to operate at scale. As AI continues to transform the way we work, our team is building AI-powered workflows, intelligent automation, and internal productivity solutions across the Music organization. We are looking for a passionate and versatile Product Operations Manager to bridge AI, product, and operations - driving workplace efficiency through AI-powered tools and systems within TikTok s internal infrastructure. This role sits within the Copyright Solutions / Music Content Solutions department.

Responsibilities

• Drive AI-Powered Productivity: Identify operational pain points and high-impact opportunities to improve workplace efficiency through AI, automation, and scalable tools. Translate complex business needs into actionable AI skills, MRDs, and repeatable methodologies that guide product development.
• Build & Optimize Internal Products: Design, optimize, and maintain internal systems, workflows, and infrastructure that enable teams to operate more efficiently at a global scale. Act as a product operations owner by deeply understanding the needs of internal users. Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineering to define requirements, business needs, and product specifications, delivering complex solutions from concept to successful launch.
• Lead Cross-Functional Initiatives: Drive strategic projects across Product, Engineering, Operations, Business Development, Legal, and other key stakeholders. Foster strong cross-functional collaboration to unlock growth opportunities and deliver measurable business impact.
• Improve Operational Infrastructure: Design and optimize internal systems, workflows, and infrastructure that enable teams to operate more efficiently at scale.
• Data-Driven Continuous Improvement: Establish metrics and KPIs to track product effectiveness. Gather user feedback through research, analyze data to uncover insights, and continuously refine tools and processes to maximize adoption and operational quality.
• Develop Go-To-Market (GTM) & Adoption Strategies: Own the rollout of new tools and AI features. Provide training and ongoing support for internal teams, including Q&A, issue troubleshooting, and creating comprehensive documentation to ensure users get the most out of our internal products.

• 3+ years of experience in product operations, program management, or a related tech operations role.
• Comfortable operating at the intersection of AI, product, and engineering - you don t need to code, but you can speak the language of technical teams.
• Solid data analysis capabilities, including the ability to read and write SQL to extract actionable insights.
• Bias for action with a builder s mindset: you treat internal tools as products and internal users as your customers.
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English is required to collaborate with global partners and key stakeholders based in Mandarin-speaking markets, where Mandarin is a primary working language

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on project experience applying AI in practical business scenarios (e.g., workflow automation, using AI tools/agents to improve efficiency).
• Experience in music tech, copyright operations, or internal ecosystems is a plus.
• Independent thinker with the ability to navigate ambiguity, break down complex problems into actionable solutions, and drive projects to completion with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong written communication and structured thinking - you can produce crisp MRDs, product specs, and status updates.
