Position Summary:

As a Senior Product Owner, you will be a critical contributor in the development and deployment of software solutions to support our development programs and build compelling products within Abbott's Electrophysiology Division. You will be responsible for leading feature teams in the development of complex software applications that include signal processing, algorithms, and visualization in a real-time environment. You will also be working with our emerging cloud and analytics programs. All this will happen in an environment that emphasizes a robust cybersecurity and patient privacy focus. You will participate in all phases of the software lifecycle, including concept development, requirements, design, implementation, and testing.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead application feature definition activities working cross-functionally with Software Development, Systems Engineering, Human Factors, Clinical Engineering, and other stakeholders.
• Work in an Agile environment and continuously review the business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks.
• Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
• Contribute to overall project success and define necessary activities to achieve desired business results.
• Identify, quantify, and resolve technical risks that may require cross-functional collaboration to resolve complex system interactions
• Manage and write System and subsystem requirements, including definition, decomposition, analysis, and traceability, to ensure clear and unambiguous software requirements
• Play a key role in the software/hardware integration. Collaborate with Systems Verification, Pre-Clinical engineering, and other stakeholders to do root cause analysis and solution generation
• Review software designs to ensure they implement the appropriate software behavior and requirements
• Ensure that all activities conform to Quality and compliance requirements
• As a team leader, mentor and guide other team members to facilitate completion of various project activities, from definition, identifying software functional requirements, test reviews, traceability, and final release according to medical device development processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Computer Systems, Systems, or Software), Computer Science, or related discipline
• 10+ years of software engineering design and development or systems engineering experience
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with C++
• Experience with creating and managing requirements and translating them into effective architectures and software design
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to communicate to all levels of the organization

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Engineering (Computer, Electrical, Computer Systems, or Software), Computer Science, or related discipline
• Knowledge of 62304 and other standards applicable to Class II and Class III medical devices

As a Systems Engineer, you will be a critical contributor on our Electrophysiology Systems Engineering team focused on delivering the future in Advanced Mapping technologies. This role will involve a range of responsibilities, including, but not limited to, collaborating with and leading teams in the development and analysis of system performance and system integration for our next-generation products. In this role, you will be a key member of Abbott's product development team to bring systems from concept to launch.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the technical and business strategy at the core team level for major system-level programs with a good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Utilize multidisciplinary engineering knowledge and experience to design, develop, and troubleshoot new products specific to cardiac mapping and ablation.
• Provide system engineering leadership and take ownership for overall project success for new products from concept phase through launch.

Experience and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of experience in developing highly complex electrical hardware, software, and signal-processing based systems.

The Senior Windows Server Engineer is a subject matter expert that has global accountability for the architecture and design of Windows Services running on Windows 2008R2 and Windows 2012R2 & 2016 R2 in a VMware virtual machine environment. This person must be a Microsoft Windows Server technology expert who can operate and continuously improve, standardize, and automate tasks in environments distributed across datacenters throughout the world. They should have a good understanding of Microsoft Clustering, Terminal services, security, PowerShell scripting and Windows Update Services (WSUS). This engineer should possess the ability perform audits using Microsoft toolkits and native tools to identify security risks in our windows environments. They should be able to articulate technical problems to management, and work well in a team and in cooperation with other teams. They will be working in a fast paced environment that will require travel within and outside of the US a few times a year.

Duties will include:

• Windows Operating System (build, administration, security, and automation tools)
• Windows performance troubleshooting and performance tuning
• Design, implementation, Migration and maintenance of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Group Policy, Clustering, Terminal Services, LDAP and windows scripting/automation.
