Schedule 7am-3:30 Monday-Friday $17
Job Summary:
Responsible for stacking goods into correct containers and preparing them for shipment.
Heavy Lifting involved!
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Stack finished goods into containers.
- Prepare goods for shipment.
- Pack them following a specific set of instructions.
- Clean and prepare containers for packing.
- Check to ensure containers are damage free.
- Verify if items pulled out of package are correct.
- Maintain database of packages.
- Fill out forms and papers to record measurement, weight, and product count.
- Keep track of inventory.
- Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment such as conveyors or in specified areas such as loading docks.
- Seal and label each container.
- Move completed packages for loading.
- Mark and label containers.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred.
- Basic shop skills, such as using hand tools and tape measure.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong communication skills and desire to work with other team members.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs. often.
- Be able to stand for long periods of time.
