Product/Software Integration Principal

Job Title: PLM Product Manager

Location: Oak Brook, IL hybrid

Pay Rate: $150-200K

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking a PLM Product Manager for an engineering and technology company, which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in enterprise software integration and PLM deployment looking to further their career in technical product management.

•      Serve as primary contact for PLM development and lead PLM environment deployment (75% of role)

•      Manage external PLM subcontractors, coordinating priorities and deliverables

•      Lead back-end PLM development, system enhancements, and configuration changes

•      Develop PLM policies and procedures with engineering stakeholders; partner with the PLM Lead/Specialist

•      Draft software QA policies and procedures and review deliverables with the QA team (20%)

•      Support special projects: document control and accounting platform integration, AI strategy and tool integration (5%)

Essential Qualifications

•      5+ years of enterprise software integration experience with Siemens Teamcenter.

•      Extensive experience with platforms such as Siemens Teamcenter, Oracle Primavera P6, Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft 365, or SharePoint

•      Bachelor's degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, or a related field

•      Working knowledge of software quality assurance concepts and collaborative QA practices

•      Ability to analyze current-state processes and draft clear policies and procedures

•      Experience partnering with stakeholders and external vendors

•      Strong communication skills; adaptable to shifting priorities

Bonus Qualifications

•      Technical operations, systems administration, QA, or engineering support background

•      Exposure to document control, platform integration, or third-party software implementation

•      Experience managing subcontractors or managed service partners

•      Policy development in regulated or process-driven environments
