Product Specialist

Our client is a leading alternative investment manager focused on credit-oriented investment strategies. The firm partners with institutional investors and manages capital across a variety of private market solutions, offering employees the opportunity to work alongside experienced investment professionals in a collaborative, high-performance environment.

They are seeking a Product Specialist to serve as a bridge between the investment and client-facing functions of the business. This individual will play a key role in analyzing portfolio activity, supporting fundraising initiatives, developing investor materials, and helping communicate the firm's investment strategies to current and prospective investors.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of assigned investment strategies, portfolio holdings, and performance drivers
• Partner closely with investment professionals to stay current on new investments, realizations, market developments, and portfolio activity
• Analyze portfolio performance, investment metrics, and market data to support investor communications
• Prepare investor presentations, due diligence materials, fundraising decks, and quarterly reporting packages
• Support responses to investor requests, diligence inquiries, and ad hoc analyses
• Conduct industry and competitor research to assist with product positioning and strategic initiatives
• Coordinate across investment, operations, and client-facing teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of information
• Translate complex investment concepts into concise, investor-friendly messaging

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience in:

• Private Credit

• Direct Lending

• Investment Banking

• Leveraged Finance

• Credit Research

• Capital Markets

• Structured Finance

• Alternative Asset Management

• Strong financial analysis and credit underwriting capabilities

• Ability to evaluate investment performance and portfolio-level metrics

• Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

• Desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
