Are you passionate about cars and love helping people make informed decisions? As a Product Specialist at Gengras Ford, you'll serve as the go-to expert on our vehicle lineup — educating customers, answering questions, and guiding them through the showroom experience. This is not a sales position. Your focus is entirely on delivering an outstanding, low-stress customer experience through product knowledge and genuine service.

This is a great entry point into the automotive industry. We welcome candidates with backgrounds in customer service, hospitality, retail, education, or any field where communication and people skills shine.

What We Offer

  • Competitive Pay: $50,000-$60,000

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

  • Life and disability insurance

  • 401(k) with company matching

  • 2 Weeks Paid Vacation

  • Factory Bonus when available
  • Paid training and ongoing product education

  • Opportunities for career advancement within the Gengras group

Schedule:

  • 5 day work week
  • 40 Hours Per Week after half hour lunch
  • No Sundays

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the in-house expert on Ford's full vehicle lineup

  • Guide customers through vehicle walkthroughs and demonstrations

  • Answer questions accurately and thoroughly, helping customers identify which vehicle best fits their needs and lifestyle

  • Stay current on new model releases, Ford updates, and industry trends through ongoing training

  • Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to ensure a seamless customer handoff

  • Maintain an organized, welcoming showroom floor

  • Deliver a consistent, high-quality experience that reflects Gengras's commitment to customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills you enjoy talking with people and making them feel at ease

  • Genuine curiosity about vehicles and a willingness to become a product expert (prior automotive experience is a plus, not a requirement)

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
