Freeman+Leonard is seeking a contract Production Artist for an 18-month assignment in North Dallas


Position Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Production Artist to support a busy creative production team. Working closely with an Art Director, this role will prepare and update print and digital materials, carry projects through revision cycles, and deliver accurate final files that meet established technical and brand standards.


Work Arrangement
Onsite Monday through Thursday; remote on Friday

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and revise creative assets for print, social media, web, presentations, and other marketing channels.
  • Manage production work from initial file setup through revisions, quality checks, and final mechanical preparation.
  • Create new materials and maintain existing assets to reflect current brand guidelines, messaging, and business needs.
  • Confirm that final deliverables are accurate, properly formatted, and completed according to project timelines.
  • Organize creative components into presentation files, toolkits, and other packaged deliverables.
  • Prepare and route completed toolkits through a digital asset management platform.
  • Support production needs for packaging and other print-based projects.
  • Balance multiple assignments while communicating clearly about priorities, revisions, and deadlines.


Qualifications
  • Associate degree in graphic design, advertising art, or a related discipline - or equivalent practical experience.
  • One to three years of relevant production art or graphic design experience.
  • Portfolio demonstrating experience with print, social, and digital creative work.
  • Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop in a Mac-based environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, file-management skills, and deadline management.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with creative partners.
  • Experience with digital asset management and project routing or workflow platforms is helpful, but not required.
