JOB PURPOSE To perform any and/or all functions of production, fabrication or shipping operations in accordance with verbal and written instructions and drawings. JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY - Prepare components and printed circuit boards (PCBs) for assembly
- Insert components and assemble subassemblies
- Prepare metal parts for use in finished product
- Follow written and verbal instructions, drawings, and work procedures
- Accountable for quality, quantity, and inspection of work performed
- Perform basic soldering as needed
- Track incoming and outgoing materials using computer files or other systems
- Pack finished products for shipment using the proper materials and procedures
SKILLS - REQUIRED - Good hand coordination and manual dexterity
- Must have visual acuity to read assembly prints and instructions
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and understand verbal directions
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Ability to learn and perform hand soldering
- Basic computer skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS - Lifting or exerting up to 20 lbs. of weight/force frequently/up to 70 lbs. of weight/force occasionally
- Standing, Walking, and sitting for a majority of the time
- Cognitive requirements include ability to learn quickly, handle multiple tsks, demonstrate attention to detail and be highly productive
EDUCATION - REQUIRED - High school or equivalent
EXPERIENCE - REQUIRED ABILITY TO COMMUTE - REQUIRED
