    Description

    DeLallo is looking for a Full-Time PRODUCTION ASSISTANT for our production facility in Penn, PA. This position requires work on the food production line as well as administrative/computer duties..

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Review, organize, file, and finalize manufacturing documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, compliance, and retention with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

    ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES & FUNCTIONS:

    • Assemble, finalize, scan, save, and file manufacturing batch records, label sheets, process sheets and daily production paperwork.
    • Secure required signatures on all documentation.
    • Provide support during regulatory and other audit-related activities.
    • Document all product dates, print file, complete COA Sheet, and send COA to the appropriate customer.
    • Make and distribute monthly Julian calendar.
    • Collect, ensure accuracy, scan and file Foreign Object & Corrective Action Sheets, Metal Detection records, Swab Sheets, GMPS and Pre-opt Sheets from all lines.
    • Verify cooler temperatures and scale weights.
    • Respond to internal partners to provide clarification as needed.
    • Order supplies as needed.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE / SKILLS:

    • At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
    • Familiarity with manufacturing practices and packaging of food & beverage products.
    • Knowledge of one or more of the following is desirable: GMPs, GDPs, Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP), Safe Quality Foods (SQF), and/or document control.
    • Well-organized, detail oriented, and strong written and verbal communication.
    • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel).
