Job Title: General Production Worker | Pay $15 - $15.50

Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as General Production Workers. You will play a vital role in processing and packaging frozen products, finishing and decorating desserts, and assisting with various production tasks. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment where attention to detail and adaptability are key.

Responsibilities

• Process frozen products by placing pans and products on conveyor lines, aligning products, loading products into racks, and moving racks to tempering rooms.
• Finish and decorate desserts by removing products from racks, performing finishing tasks, racking products for rework, and casing products.
• Process and package frozen products by depanning, removing wax paper, aligning products, loading into carriers, building boxes, and operating packaging equipment.

Essential Skills

• Production experience.
• Ability to meet lifting requirements and stand for 8+ hours per day.
• Quick adaptation to changing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to carry up to 25 lbs and lift up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Willingness to train in all areas of the finishing process.
• Reliability and flexibility in work assignments.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and conversing in English.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in a food manufacturing environment.
• Basic mathematical skills for baking documentation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reading, PA.

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
