Production Associate I

Job Summary:
Our client, a leading food distribution company, is seeking Warehouse Associates for a contract position in Hartford, CT. This role is responsible for efficiently grading products for quality control and preparing products for shipment by repacking into smaller increments.

Key Responsibilities:
" Grade products for quality control and repack cases into smaller increments.
" Assemble boxes, label, stack, and stock packages for shipment.
" Clean and sanitize work area while adhering to sanitation and safety procedures for handling and production of tomatoes according to Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards.

Required Qualifications:
" Proven ability to work independently.
" Ability to perform work assignments at an acceptable productivity level.
" Must wear steel toe/composite boots covering ankle starting day 1.
" No prior experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:
" High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

About the Role:
" Contract duration: 2,720 hours (approximately 1 year).
" Schedule: Monday Friday, 6:30 AM to 5 PM. Candidates are expected to stay if there is work still to be completed.
" Location: Hartford, CT 06114.
" Environment: Cooler section, 45-55 degrees.
" Travel: None.
