Job Summary:
Our client, a leading fresh food distribution company, is seeking Produce Production Associates for their Orlando, FL facility. This is a contract position with the potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash, prep, peel, and cut fresh fruit according to company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of production and staging areas.
- Ensure raw product storage areas remain clean and orderly.
- Remove empty boxes, trash, and other debris promptly.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Ability to lift 60 lbs occasionally.
- Hand dexterity and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Must provide a resume stating ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a cold-temperature production environment.
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
About the Role:
- Contract duration: Ongoing, with potential for extension.
- Schedule: 10:00 AM Close, Sunday through Friday. Employees receive one additional scheduled day off, assigned upon start date. Overtime: approximately 2 4 hours per week based on business needs.
- Location: Orlando, FL 32809.
- Travel: None.
- Work Environment: Cold-temperature production environment. Standing and walking for the majority of the shift. Fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
