Job Title: Production Associate
Location: Pompano Beach, FL 33069

Monday through Saturday; off Sunday and one additional day during the week. Present and ready for the daily stand-up meeting by 8:55 AM. Shift end times vary based on production demands, typically between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM, but may end earlier when production goals are met.

Job Summary
Our client, a leading fresh food production and distribution company, is seeking Production Associates for its Pompano Beach, FL facility. This is a contract position supporting fast-paced food production operations. Multiple openings are available.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare fruits and vegetables using knives, peelers, and processing equipment
- Operate or assist with food preparation machinery
- Lift and transfer finished product containers (up to 75 lbs) for drying and processing
- Feed finished products into processing equipment
- Seal, label, and pack products for shipment
- Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures

Required Qualifications

- Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift and transfer containers weighing up to 75 lbs repeatedly
- Willingness to work in a refrigerated production environment (approximately 37 F)
- Steel-toe boots required on Day 1

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in food production, manufacturing, or warehouse environments
- Familiarity with food safety and good manufacturing practices (GMP)

About the Role

- Location: Pompano Beach, FL (on-site; no travel required)
- Contract duration: Approximately 2,160 total hours (roughly 12 months), 40 hours per week
- Schedule: Monday through Saturday; off Sunday and one additional weekday. Candidates must be present and ready for the daily stand-up meeting by 8:55 AM. Shift end times vary with production demands, typically between 6:00 PM and 9:00 PM, and may end earlier when production goals are met.
