Production Associate

Join a dynamic team as a Production Associate responsible for operating machinery and assembling components for sealing and fluid handling systems. This role involves following detailed instructions to efficiently complete processes such as Cutting, Bending, End Forming, Crimping, and Assembling.

• Operate machinery to perform processes including Cutting, Bending, End Forming, Crimping, and Assembling.
• Follow detailed instructions, akin to a recipe, to build finished parts accurately.
• Understand and implement step-by-step guidelines along with pictures and diagrams.
• Maintain efficiency and initiative in completing tasks and determining next steps.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and willingness to try and fail, rather than asking excessive questions.
• Ensure the first finished piece is signed off by the team leader before proceeding.
• Adapt to changes in part numbers and quantities while maintaining consistent processes.

• Minimum of 2 years working in a production environment, preferably automotive.
• Experience in assembly, machine operation, inspection, and general production.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, mics, and calipers.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and follow instructions accurately.

• Experience as Assemblers, CNC Operators, Tube Benders, or in quality control.
• Steel-toed boots or shoes required.
• Ability to read blueprints is advantageous but not essential.

Work in a manufacturing atmosphere requiring long periods of standing. Proper personal protection equipment is mandatory on the manufacturing floor, and training is provided to ensure safe equipment operation.

This is a Contract position based out of Livonia, MI.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
