Job Description
The Production Associate is responsible for supporting manufacturing and production operations by assembling products, operating equipment, performing quality inspections, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform assigned production, assembly, packaging, and material handling tasks.
Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery according to established procedures.
Inspect products to ensure they meet quality specifications and report defects or issues.
Follow work instructions, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines.
Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility as needed.
Maintain production records and complete required documentation accurately.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and minor troubleshooting.
Meet productivity, quality, and attendance expectations.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in team meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
Ability to read, write, and understand basic work instructions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
Previous manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or production experience.
Experience operating production equipment or industrial machinery.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.
Ability to frequently bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to perform repetitive motions involving hands, wrists, and arms.
Ability to work in varying temperatures and manufacturing conditions, depending on the facility.
Work Environment
Manufacturing or production facility environment.
Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as designated.
May require overtime, weekends, or shift work based on production demands.
