Production Associate / train on 1st for 3rd shift

Nesco Resource is in search of a production associate, for our Client in Hickory, for 3rd shift to be willing to train on 1st shift from 5:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (Length of training will depend upon how well the candidate learns and picks up the processes)

Monday – Friday: Training: 5:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. ACTUAL 3rd shift hours: Sunday - Thursday 10:00 p.m. -6:30 a.m.
Pay: $17.50 on 3rd shift

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Production Associate to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating grinding machinery to meet production and quality standards, performing routine checks, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor grinding machines to meet daily production requirements

• Perform quality checks to ensure finished parts meet specifications

• Maintain equipment and perform basic troubleshooting when needed

• Follow all safety policies and procedures

• Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating grinding machines or similar production equipment preferred

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to [insert lbs] as needed

• Reliable attendance and good work ethic

• Willingness to work overtime as needed
