Position Overview
The Production & Community Engagement Intern supports the planning, production, and execution of Albuquerque Museum''s monthly Third Thursday programs. This position offers hands-on experience in museum programming, community engagement, event production, arts administration, and creative project management.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, curious, and enjoys working with people. They thrive in a variety of environments, from independent desk work and creative group brainstorming to the fast-paced energy of large public events. Students interested in museums, theater, arts administration, education, design, communications, or community organizing are encouraged to apply.
This internship follows a consistent monthly rhythm, making it an excellent opportunity for students who appreciate predictable project cycles while still enjoying creative, people-centered work.
Minimum Qualifications
Enrolled in a degree seeking program at UNM, Enrolled at least half-time (6 hours) at UNM for fall and spring semesters (Audit hours do not count), and if Work Study, you must meet Satisfactory Academic Progress.
