We're looking for candidates with experience in production support, fabrication, electro-mechanical assembly, work-order tracking, inventory control, and production coordination. The ideal candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities, and comfortable working with both computer-based production systems and hands-on fabrication tasks.
Job Responsibilities
- Build prototypes and support production of cables, wire harnesses, test systems, rack systems, portable testers, and ITAs.
- Read and interpret schematics, wire lists, blueprints, assembly drawings, and MAI instructions.
- Perform mechanical assembly, wiring, soldering, crimping, continuity testing, cable termination, and finishing using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Enter and maintain Work Orders, production schedules, workflow information, and production records using computer-based systems.
- Monitor production priorities, work assignments, material requirements, inventory, and stockroom levels.
- Coordinate workflow and communicate production, scheduling, and material issues with cross-functional teams.
- Review completed work for accuracy, support inspection and quality requirements, and follow IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, and applicable standards.
- Test and troubleshoot products, identify production issues, maintain accurate documentation, order supplies, support process improvements, and perform additional duties as assigned by the Area Manager and/or Program/Project Manager.

Qualifications
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on professional with strong organizational skills and experience supporting production in an electro-mechanical environment. Applicants should have:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree (AS) or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
- 5+ years of experience working in an electro-mechanical environment.
- 1+ year of experience in production control, production support, administrative, or related activities.
- Experience with cable and wire harness fabrication, electro-mechanical assembly, production builds, and test equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wire lists, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
- Hands-on experience with soldering, wire crimping, continuity testing, cable termination, mechanical assembly, and related fabrication tools.
- Experience with Work Order tracking, production scheduling, workflow coordination, inventory control, stockroom management, and material planning.
- Strong organizational, time-management, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage changing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality, production schedules, and minimizing rework and defects. Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620; experience in an AS9100 environment is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and lift 25+ lbs., including assisting with moving equipment, materials, and products within the lab or production area.
