Job Summary:
Panelmatic is seeking a detail-oriented experienced Production Coordinator. The Production Coordinator will coordinate production schedules and manufacturing activities.
Job Duties:
- Coordinate production schedules and manufacturing activities
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to resolve any production issues - hold owners accountable to tasks
- Ensure and verify all stage gates are completed to allow for clear-to-build
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records
- Support in timely delivery of finished products
- Monitor workflow and provide schedule updates as necessary to meet production targets
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience in any of the following metal manufacturing roles: Coordination role, Inventory control, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Shop Management.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and best practices
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
- Proficiency in inventory management software
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of quality control standards
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 4-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of manufacturing safety standards
- Acute attention to detail
- Optimizing efficiencies
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
- Time management skills
