POSITION SUMMARY
TruStar is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to support our manufacturing operations.
The primary responsibility is SQF, with additional responsibilities in purchasing, inventory, safety training, and production coordination.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- SQF: Maintain the SQF program, records, procedures, audits, corrective actions, and training documentation.
- Purchasing: Purchase MRO, maintenance, production, safety, and plant supplies; process POs and follow up with vendors.
- Inventory: Maintain accurate inventory, reorder levels, and physical counts.
- Safety: Coordinate and conduct employee safety training using materials provided by our safety consultant.
- Production: Assist with daily production coordination, materials, paperwork, and follow-up.
- CERM / ERP: Support accurate production and inventory transactions and help employees with basic CERM activities.
- Work closely with Production, Customer Service, Maintenance, Accounting, and Management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Manufacturing, purchasing, inventory, warehouse, or operations experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Good computer skills, including Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
- Willingness to obtain HACCP training if required
