Production Expeditor

Innova HR Solutions is seeking a Production Expeditor to work for our local manufacturing client. The Production Expeditor will coordinate the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to production schedule. You will plan, schedule and monitor material movement in production cycle to ensure continuous operations.

What you'll do?

• Examine documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications
• Verify and maintain documentation such as job shortages, planned receipts and logs
• Perform a wide variety of expediting tasks to ensure a timely flow of production and assembly activities
• Confers with internal customers to coordinate production or shipping activities and to resolve complaints and/or eliminate delays
• Keep records of items shipped, received, or transferred to another location
• To work overtime as requested
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You Need to Know

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years experience in a high-volume shipping role, processing a comprehensive variety of shipments
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High degree of organization, accuracy, and dependability
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
