Production Floater

Penmac Staffing is hiring Manufacturing Floaters for a leading hardwood flooring manufacturer in the West Plains area. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity for dependable individuals who enjoy working in a production environment and are willing to learn multiple manufacturing roles.

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Schedule: 3rd Shift, Sunday-Thursday, 9:30 PM to 5:30 AM

• Willing to submit to a criminal background check and drug screening
• Ability to learn and perform multiple production positions
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Manufacturing Floater Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Floater, you will work in various mill and finish-line production positions that contribute to the manufacturing of finished hardwood flooring products.Duties may include:- Rotating between production roles as needed

• Following work instructions and production procedures
• Maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards
• Assisting team members to support daily production goals
• Identifying and communicating production concerns
• Keeping work areas clean and organized
• Performing additional duties assigned by supervisors

Physical Requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stretching, stooping, reaching, and twisting
• Repetitive use of hands and arms throughout the shift
• Regular lifting and moving of items up to 10 pounds
• Occasional lifting and moving of items up to 50 pounds
• Occasional pushing of loads exceeding 100 pounds
• Ability to climb stairs and work safely around moving mechanical equipment
• Ability to work in a loud, non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment
