Associated Staffing is hiring
Production Assembly Workers for a manufacturing company in Hastings, NE! This full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity offers $17.00 per hour, a four-day workweek with potential Friday overtime and the opportunity to learn valuable manufacturing skills.
Our client manufactures custom and stock shipping cases and is looking for dependable, motivated individuals who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in producing quality products. Previous manufacturing experience is not required training is provided!
As a Production Assembly Worker, you will use basic hand and power tools to assemble shipping cases while following work instructions and maintaining quality standards. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands in a relaxed, family-oriented manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities
Assemble custom and stock shipping cases according to production specifications.
Operate rivet guns, hand drills and other basic hand and power tools.
Perform pop riveting and learn additional riveting machine operations.
Read and follow work instructions to ensure accurate assembly.
Use tape measures to measure materials and verify dimensions.
Inspect assembled products to maintain quality standards.
Handle and move materials throughout the production process.
Assist with additional assembly and production duties as assigned.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.
Qualifications
Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but not required.
Willingness to learn how to operate hand drills, rivet guns and other power tools.
Ability to read and use a tape measure.
Strong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Excellent attendance, dependability and reliability.
Ability to follow instructions and maintain quality standards.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
