    Description

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and support team members in the production and packaging of Kringle, cakes, artisan baked goods, and seasonal items.
    • Oversee mixing, baking, decorating, and packaging processes to meet production goals.
    • Coordinate mail order packaging and seasonal product fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
    • Train, coach, and develop team members to meet performance and quality standards.
    • Monitor production flow and proactively address bottlenecks, staffing needs, and inventory levels.
    • Ensure adherence to GMP, HACCP, SQF, and OSHA standards.
    • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance as needed.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of quality and safety checks.
    • Collaborate with other departments to meet company-wide production goals.
    • Serve as acting Supervisor when needed and support cross-functional teams during peak seasons.

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • 3–5 years of leadership experience in food production, baking, packaging, or a related field.
      • Experience with artisan baking, mail order fulfillment, and seasonal product packaging is a plus.
      • Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
      • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office); ability to read and follow instructions in English.
      • Spanish language skills a plus, but not required.

      Physical Requirements:

      • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
      • Comfortable standing, bending, and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
      • Able to work in varying temperatures (50°F–95°F) and around allergens (milk, eggs, wheat, soy, tree nuts, sesame).
