Job Description
Nucor Trademark Metals Recycling is hiring a Production Lead in Ocala, FL to direct daily operations, manage material flow, and lead crew safety in an outdoor industrial environment. Candidates must have at least 1 year of supervisory experience in heavy industry/construction, 3 years in an industrial setting, and the mechanical, physical, and administrative capability to operate in all yard roles.

- Average annual earnings of $85,000+ with weekly pay, production bonuses, and profit sharing

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily department operations, assign work duties and breaks, and coordinate with management to maintain schedules
- Lead, enforce, and set expectations for all company and OSHA safety standards and meetings
- Manage scrap inventory placement, ensure material meets customer specs, and step into any yard role as needed

Qualifications
Position Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in heavy manufacturing, scrap, or construction, and 3+ years in an industrial/outdoor setting
- Mechanical aptitude, basic computer/administrative skills, and strong communication capabilities
- Ability to stand/walk up to 12 hours, lift up to 50 lbs, work flexible overtime/weekends, and perform all yard tasks
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening (urine and hair follicle) and background check
- Preferred: Scrap metal recycling experience and English/Spanish bilingual abilities
