At Nexus Employment Solutions Plus, Inc., you’ll keep high-performing manufacturing lines running smoothly as a Production Line Equipment Operator. From the first shift’s startup to the last quality check at day’s end, you’ll play a critical role in safe, reliable production with steady hours, weekly pay, and room to grow.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay range: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour (starting at $20.00 per hour)
- Shift differentials: +$1.00 for 2nd Shift, +$2.00 for 3rd Shift
- Shifts available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd (AM/PM options)
- Weekend availability required (Saturday & Sunday)
A day in the role
You arrive to a clean, organized manufacturing floor. After reviewing the day’s targets, you:
- Load and unload product by hand, moving items in and out of production equipment safely
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot assigned machinery to keep throughput on track
- Follow SOPs, safety rules, and quality guidelines without compromise
- Conduct routine equipment checks to confirm proper operation
- Record production data and maintain accurate inventory and documentation
- Communicate issues promptly and collaborate with teammates to resolve them
- Finish by tidying your station—everything in its place for the next run
What you bring
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfort lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions
- Basic math, reading, and mechanical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset
- Self-directed in a fast-paced setting
- Willingness to work weekends as scheduled
Preferred
- Previous production or manufacturing experience
- Familiarity with lean/continuous improvement methodologies
Work environment
- Active manufacturing floor with running machinery and equipment noise
- Occasional exposure to production material components
- Fast-moving, team-oriented production setting
