Position Overview:
Summit Golf Brands (SGB) is seeking a full-time Production Manager. The Production Manager overseestheday-to-dayoperationsof our productionfacility.Theymanagestaff,assignwork,coordinateproductionworkflowsacrossembroidery,screen/specialtydecoration,DTGprinting,andfinishing,andensureordersarecompletedaccurately,efficiently,andonschedule.Theyalsomonitoremployeeperformance,maintainqualityandproductionstandards,addressequipmentissues,andcommunicateproductionupdatesandconcernstoseniormanagement.
Reports to: Senior Production Manager.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Assigns work orders and daily tasks to embroidery, special decoration, and DTG operators
- Oversees production staff across prep, embroidery, special decoration, DTG, and finishing departments on both production floors
- Ensures all employees are performing their specific tasks and adhering to company policies
- Provides performance feedback that is timely and constructive
- May assist with payroll-related duties as assigned
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Managing daily workflow and order assignments across all production departments
- Monitoring order timelines and ensuring orders are delivered to the shipping department within the allotted time for each order
- Coordinating handoffs between prep, embroidery, special decoration, DTG, and finishing to maintain consistent production flow
- Verifying prep department procedures are followed, including order completeness checks, attachment of logo department instructions, and garment organization
- Ensuring embroidery and special decoration operators follow work order instructions for design distinction, logo placement, and specified thread colors
- Overseeing DTG operations, including pretreatment, printing, drying/curing, and heat press application
- Overseeing finishing department tasks, including trimming, steaming, folding, bagging, and completion of value-added services such as UPC application and tag removal
- Ensuring operators complete routine daily machine maintenance and escalating equipment issues as needed
- Maintaining ongoing communication with the logo department, shipping, and other departments
- Reporting production status, issues, and timeline risks to the VP of Production and Senior Production Manager
- Performs all other duties as assigned
