Production Manager Glass Manufacturing

This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing high-volume, 24/7 glass manufacturing operations, driving production performance, and leading teams in a safety-focused, continuous improvement environment. Full relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on leadership experience in glass manufacturing, a strong understanding of continuous production processes, and a proven ability to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and overall operational performance.

• Lead daily operations for assigned glass manufacturing production lines operating in a 24/7 environment.
• Drive performance across safety, quality, productivity, cost, and operational efficiency.
• Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and manufacturing teams.
• Monitor production KPIs, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and manufacturing best practices.
• Lead production meetings, operational reviews, and improvement projects.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, employee engagement, and safety.

• Proven management and continuous improvement skills.
• Strong collaboration and employee engagement abilities.
• Coaching and mentoring skills with the capability to handle personnel issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Adept at using informational systems and analyzing data.
• Experience in the Glass Manufacturing Industry is essential
• High School Degree or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Production or Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or related fields preferred.
• Experience in supervising and leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
