Gaspar's Design Build Remodel

Production Manager - Residential Remodeling

Location: Seattle, WA | Office and active residential jobsites throughout Greater Seattle

Lead rewarding remodels, develop skilled teams, and help shape how great work gets done.

Bring your residential construction experience to a leadership role where thoughtful planning, clear communication, and team development matter. At Gaspar's, you'll oversee high-end remodeling projects with the support of in-house Design, Estimating, Sales, and Accounting teams.

About Gaspar's

Gaspar's is a woman-owned residential design-build remodeling company serving Greater Seattle homeowners for more than 50 years. With design, estimating, and construction teams under one roof, we help clients create homes that reflect their needs, values, and budgets.

Our purpose is to uplift lives through better spaces, stronger relationships, and meaningful work. That commitment extends to our employees, trade partners, and clients.

About the Role

As Production Manager, you'll lead and develop Project Leads and field teams while overseeing 6-10 concurrent remodeling projects representing approximately 5 million - 7 million in annual production.

Projects range from approximately $50,000 to more than $2 million and include kitchens, bathrooms, additions, whole-home remodels, historic homes, and complex structural renovations. Reporting to the Head of Production, you'll guide project outcomes across scheduling, budgets, quality, and client satisfaction.

This role calls for someone who can build a practical production schedule, explain the strategy behind it, and keep teams prepared for what comes next. You'll have the opportunity to strengthen systems, improve project handoffs, and help your team solve problems early.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop Project Leads and field personnel, setting clear priorities and expectations.
  • Oversee multiple remodeling projects, maintaining accountability for budgets, schedules, quality, and client care.
  • Develop and evaluate production schedules, coordinate work sequences, and track progress toward completion.
  • Allocate labor and coordinate subcontractors so projects are properly staffed and ready for execution.
  • Monitor costs, forecast completion dates, and address project risks before they disrupt work.
  • Partner with Design, Estimating, Sales, and Accounting on pre-construction planning, constructability reviews, and project handoffs.
  • Manage subcontractor performance and support contract administration and change management.
  • Use reporting, project data, and lessons learned to improve processes and team performance.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of residential construction experience, including 3 or more years in project management, production management, or operations leadership.
  • Experience managing multiple high-end residential remodeling projects, including occupied-home renovations, additions, kitchens, bathrooms, whole-home remodels, and structural work.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead field personnel, develop team members, and manage subcontractors.
  • Strong scheduling and production planning skills, including the ability to explain how you develop and maintain a project schedule.
  • Experience with budgeting, cost tracking, contract administration, and change management.
  • Working knowledge of residential construction methods, building codes, permits, and inspections.
  • Clear communication, sound judgment, strong organization, and a collaborative approach to solving problems.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly between the Seattle office and project sites.
  • Ability to work regularly from our Seattle office and travel to residential jobsites throughout Greater Seattle. Relocation assistance is not provided.
  • Familiarity with older Seattle-area homes and their renovation challenges is preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

You'll work in the office and visit active residential construction sites throughout Greater Seattle. Duties may involve bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping, hammering, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations are available for qualified applicants and employees with disabilities.

Pay and Benefits

  • Full-time, W-2 employment.
  • Pay: $115,000 - $145,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
  • Eligible for an annual performance bonus.
  • Medical coverage with an 80% company contribution.
  • Optional supplemental dental, vision, life, and other insurance policies.
  • Pretax or Roth 401(k) with a company match.
  • Separate paid vacation and sick time banks.
  • 11 paid holidays, including four days between Christmas and New Year's Day.
  • Monthly cell phone allowance.
  • Tuition reimbursement for professional development.
  • Sandler leadership and communication development program.
  • Team activities, collaboration, and company celebrations.

Why Join Gaspar's Construction?

  • Join an established company where many production team members have stayed for more than a decade, including some for over 20 years.
  • Work alongside people who value ownership, honest communication, learning, and lasting relationships.
  • Receive support for your development while helping others grow in their careers.
