This role manages production personnel, coordinates workflow, monitors performance, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to maximize productivity and operational efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Planning and OperationsPlan, organize, and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly production activities.Ensure production schedules and customer delivery deadlines are met.Coordinate staffing, equipment, materials, and resources to meet production requirements.Monitor production output and adjust priorities to address changing demands.Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, delays, and operational issues.Team Leadership and Employee DevelopmentSupervise, train, and develop team leaders and production employees.Establish clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable.Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and support employee development.Promote teamwork, communication, and a culture of accountability.Ensure adequate staffing levels and effective employee scheduling.Quality AssuranceEnsure products meet established quality specifications and customer requirements.Work closely with the Quality Department to address defects, nonconformances, and customer complaints.Implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce scrap, rework, and production errors.Maintain compliance with applicable quality standards, procedures, and work instructions.Safety and ComplianceMaintain a safe and organized production environment.Enforce company safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.Ensure employees receive appropriate safety training and follow established practices.Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Maintain compliance with applicable environmental and regulatory requirements.Cost Control and ProductivityMonitor material usage, overtime, scrap, and overall production expenses.Identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.Develop and monitor production performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).Implement process improvements to increase throughput and reduce operating costs.Support budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning activities.Equipment and MaintenanceCoordinate with Maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and availability.Minimize unplanned downtime through preventive maintenance and timely repairs.Ensure equipment is operated and maintained according to established procedures.Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, process improvements, and increased capacity.Continuous Improvement and ReportingLead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, or other applicable methodologies.Analyze production data to identify trends, recurring problems, and improvement opportunities.Prepare and communicate regular reports on production performance, quality, safety, and costs.Collaborate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Customer Service.Participate in operational meetings and support the company's strategic objectives.Qualifications and RequirementsBachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred;
