Are you the pro who keeps materials moving?
Do you enjoy operating lift trucks with precision? Can you juggle on-board scanning, shifting priorities, and tight dock schedules? If yes, you’ll thrive here.
Your impact
- Safety first—adhere to every rule and regulation on the floor and at the dock.
- Load outbound trailers and stage inbound freight for efficient receiving.
- Control lift functions using levers and pedals to maneuver safely in busy aisles.
- Position forks/platforms beneath pallets, skids, boxes, corrugated sheets, products, and more; transport loads to assigned locations.
- Team with fellow operators, line leads, and supervisors to maintain uninterrupted flow—especially through shift changeovers.
- Locate and inventory floor stock; supply lines per production tickets and adjust as line-ups change mid-shift.
- Assist lines by preparing units when operators are unavailable (cut bands; remove top/bottom sheets).
- Care for your equipment: lubricate, recharge batteries, refuel or swap liquefied gas tanks, and blow out the lift with compressed air routinely (aim for daily).
- Leverage the on-board computer to record quantities and locations, scanning location-to-location and location-to-production line for full traceability.
- Keep aisles clear—stack/organize board and off-fall; support plant housekeeping, dunnage handling, and broken skid removal.
- Take on other duties as needed.
