1.0 PURPOSE
· To implement the company’s Quality Policy and ensure that the requirements of ISO 13485:2016 and other applicable industry standards are maintained.
· To be a key member of Molding who helps us meet our goals for on-time delivery of quality products to our customers.
2.0 RESPONSIBILITIES/AUTHORITY
· Supervise shift operations with the aim for high performance.
· Supervise Material Handlers with aim to improve our molding processes
· Supervise, train and guidance all maintenance activities with the aim of improving our operations
· Provide training and guidance to team members.
· Conduct annual reviews of team members.
· Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
· Maintain a strong working relationship with Quality Department.
· Maintain a strong working relationship with Tool Room.
· Oversee all facility maintenance with Director of Engineering
· Oversee all equipment maintenance in Molding, Tool Room, and Pad Printing.
3.0 DUTIES
· Continuously monitor production output in the Molding department.
· Communicate and schedule daily team members tasks.
· Continuously monitor molding parameters striving for continuous improvements.
· Continuously monitor scrap quantities with the goal of reducing loss revenue
· Perform mold changes if needed.
· Perform Engineering process services as needed
· Respond to machine alarms as needed.
· Provide guidance to personnel during emergencies.
· Maintain a clean and organized molding floor, materials room, and maintenance department
· Periodic coverage for all 3 shifts to audit and ensure all leads and staff members are maintaining protocols and training
4.0 EDUCATION
· High school graduate or equivalent.
5.0 EXPERIENCE
· 5 + years of responsible activity in injection molding.
· Demonstrated ability in supervisory position.
· Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting of injection molding machines.
· Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting mechanical problems.
· Demonstrated ability to get the job done

· PPE must be worn when required such as back brace, safety glasses and steel toe shoes
