Job description

Join our Elkhart manufacturing team as a 2nd Shift Production Operator. You’ll support wheel and rim production by inspecting products, handling materials, packaging finished goods, and assisting with production line tasks.

Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or general labor is preferred. Candidates with mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply, including those new to manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect rims and wheels for defects, proper valve stem hole placement, and clear DOT stamps.

• Check rim trims for correct depth and surface defects.

• Safely handle and stack rims from chutes onto skids, crates, or racks, following required patterns and quantities.

• Prepare pallets and package finished products using protective materials, tags, paperwork, and shrink wrap.

• Remove finished wheels from production lines and assist with other Rim Line tasks.

• Follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or general labor experience preferred; entry-level candidates are welcome.

• Able to stand, bend, twist, and repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds during the shift.

• Detail-oriented, with the ability to follow instructions and record production information accurately.

• Reliable transportation and a strong attendance record.

• Available to work the listed shift and Friday overtime when required.
