    Job description

    The Manufacturing Operator is responsible for operating machinery, assembling products, monitoring production processes, and ensuring quality standards are met in a manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety regulations, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Operate Machinery & Equipment:

    • Set up, operate, and maintain production equipment according to safety and quality standards.

    • Perform routine inspections and minor troubleshooting of machines.

    • Production & Assembly:

    • Follow work instructions, blueprints, and production schedules.

    • Assemble, package, or inspect products to ensure they meet company specifications.

    • Quality Control:

    • Monitor product quality throughout production.

    • Report defects or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.

    • Safety & Compliance:

    • Follow company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent hazards.

    • Documentation & Reporting:

    • Accurately record production data, downtime, and material usage.

    • Communicate issues and improvement suggestions to the team.

    Profile

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Experience: Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or machine operation preferred.
    • Skills:
    • Ability to read and follow work instructions.
    • Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
    • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    • Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs] and stand for long periods.
