Production Operator: Decanter

Decanter

Join our team as a Decanter and help keep production running efficiently by preparing materials, sanitizing products, and supporting food safety operations.

Key Responsibilities

• De-box packaging materials for production use.
• Move products through the sanitizing tunnel and deliver sanitized items to production.
• Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures to ensure proper product rotation.
• Maintain GMP, food safety, quality, and sanitation standards.
• Safely lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• Report inventory, product, or quality concerns to leadership.
• Support warehouse and production operations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required.
• Basic English reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and flexibility.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

This role is performed in a refrigerated and freezer food production facility with cold temperatures, wet floors, and moderate to high noise levels. Employees must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, carry, push, and pull throughout the shift.
