Job Description

Responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and organized production areas by performing equipment cleaning, facility housekeeping, and general maintenance support. The role involves removing accumulated dust, paint, and resin buildup, cleaning production equipment, assisting with painting and 5S activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Clean production machines, floors, drains, and surrounding areas by removing dust, debris, paint, and resin buildup.
  • Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, scrapers, and solvents for equipment cleaning and surface preparation.
  • Assist with painting machinery, floor markings, and general facility upkeep.
  • Replace filters and clean dust collectors and central vacuum systems.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards and support 5S initiatives.
  • Assist maintenance personnel as directed by the Shift Leader.
  • Follow safety procedures, use proper PPE, and comply with environmental requirements.
  • Communicate equipment, product, or safety concerns and provide shift handover updates.
  • Clean equipment between production runs to prevent product cross-contamination.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read, speak, and understand basic English.
  • Knowledge of basic safety practices and PPE requirements.
  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
  • Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks, including cleaning, scraping, and lifting.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under moderate supervision.
  • Previous forklift experience preferred.
