Job Overview:
Production Operator 1 sets up and operates production machines and equipment. Reports to Production Supervisor and is located in Newark, CA.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Offline feeder setup, tear down and component recognition
SMT machine operating
AOI machine operating and QC
PCBA general rework
PCBA trace, BGA pad rework
Handload, mechanical assembly
Handload, wave soldering machine operating, washer operating
AXI machine operating and QC
SRT machine operating
Routing/depanelization/Press Fit
ICT testing
FCT testing
Burn in
Box build
HiPot
Hynix Test
Hynix QC
Hynix operations exclude Hynix Test and QC
Read and follow work instructions and visual aids
Check and inspect task results against predetermined standards,
Identify, communicate, and escalate production issues and problems
Key Tools and Technology:
Semi-automatic and automatic assembly equipment and tools (SMT, AOI, AXI, press fit, washing machine, tester, MPM/dek printer, reflow oven, stencil, feeder support pins and other equipment)
ESD equipment
Production documents: work instructions, product specifications, bill of material (BOM) and other documents
MS Office (Word, Excel)
ADP Workforce Now (Employee Self-Service Portal)
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma is desired
Minimum 1 year work experience in manufacturing production environment
Work Context and Conditions:
Indoors, environmentally controlled and secured
Highly structured work environment
Daily use of telephone, email and face-to-face communication with Production team
Importance of being accurate regarding work instructions and production tasks and process
Moderate time pressure required to operate production equipment and enter data daily

Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
Standing an eight-hour work shift with mandatory rest and lunch breaks
