Ingot Production Operator - White, GA

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Ingot Production Operator to join our manufacturing team in White, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing polysilicon materials that are essential to the ingot production process used in solar technology manufacturing. The ideal candidate will help ensure materials are properly prepared, equipment is operating efficiently, and all quality and safety standards are met throughout the production cycle.

This position plays a critical role in supporting production goals by maintaining consistent material quality, monitoring equipment performance, and collaborating with team members to improve operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Handle, sort, and prepare polysilicon materials for use in the ingot production process.

• Operate, monitor, and maintain preparation equipment according to established safety and quality standards.

• Perform visual inspections and quality checks on incoming raw materials to ensure compliance with specifications.

• Measure, record, and track material usage, waste, and production output accurately.

• Identify equipment malfunctions, operational issues, or process deviations and report them to the appropriate personnel.

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality standards to ensure consistency in production.

• Maintain production records and complete required documentation in a timely and accurate manner.

• Assist with equipment setup, cleaning, preventative maintenance, and changeover activities as needed.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and 5S standards.

• Follow all company safety procedures, environmental regulations, and manufacturing guidelines.

• Work closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to achieve production targets and improve processes.

• Participate in training programs, safety meetings, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Support overall production goals while maintaining high standards for quality and efficiency.

• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production, industrial, or warehouse environment preferred.

• Previous experience in the solar, semiconductor, electronics, or related manufacturing industry is a plus.

• Experience operating production equipment, machinery, or material handling systems preferred.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

• Basic computer skills, including data entry and production reporting.

• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and critical-thinking abilities.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication skills and a commitment to workplace safety.

• Ability to adapt to changing production demands and priorities.

• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.

• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds as required.

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may include noise, dust, heat, and varying temperatures.

• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety requirements.
